Finding and keeping a job isn’t easy for everyone, especially if you have a disability or complex mental health needs. The Employable Me program is here to support you, offering practical help and guidance for every stage of your employment journey.
Through the NDIS, you can access funding and services to help you with work-related challenges. Employable Me makes it easier to navigate your plan and use the funding in a way that benefits your unique situation.
It doesn’t. The NDIS only funds supports directly connected to your disability. Costs unrelated to your support needs, like your salary or a standard uniform, aren't covered.
That said, the NDIS covers a lot of valuable things—more than many people realise. It’s all about understanding the scope of what’s available.
Actually, if you’re self-managed or plan-managed, you can choose from a wider range of providers, even those who aren’t registered with the NDIS.
This flexibility means you can find the perfect fit for your needs without feeling boxed in. It’s about finding the right team to support your journey.
