Supported Independent Living (SIL)

SIL – Daily living support provided in a shared living arrangement. Enabling clients with everyday domestic needs and other SIL provides around the clock (24 hour) day-to-day support. Develop skills to live independently. Providing Assistance with household tasks like cooking and cleaning, accessing social and community activities, Personal care, Travelling and attending to appointments and other commitments

Short Term Accommodation (STA)

STA & Respite Services – Short Term Accommodation, also known as Respite, is a stepping stone into longer term independent living. It is an ideal solution if you’re waiting for funding or want to try something different and develop new skills.

Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)

Medium Term Accommodation is temporary funding in your NDIS plan that covers accommodation costs during times of transition or change. To be eligible you must have a home you are moving into and you need somewhere to live in the medium term until those arrangements can be made, for example your home is receiving building modifications. The NDIS may cover up to 90 days for Medium Term Accommodation.

Assistance With Accommodation and Tenancy Obligations

Assistance With Accommodation and Tenancy Obligations. This support item is to guide, prompt, or undertake activities to ensure the participant obtains or retains appropriate accommodation. This may include assisting to apply for a rental tenancy or to undertake tenancy obligations in line with the participant’s tenancy agreement

CAPITAL SUPPORT

Home Modifications

Enabling participants to live as independently as possible safely at home. Personally designed to reduce need for person-to-person supports, or improves the efficiency of person-to-person service delivery within the home. Includes design, construction, installation of or changes to equipment or non-structural components of the building, and installation of fixtures or fittings. Home modifications may include:

  • Installation of a hand rail in a bathroom.
  • Ceiling Hoist
  • Electrical and Door Automation
  • Minor Door or Step Modification
  • Internal / External door
  • Flooring
  • Bathroom/Toilet – Structural work
  • Kitchen or Laundry – Structural Work
  •  or Specialist Disability Accommodation for participants who require special housing because of their disability.
  • Building Works Project Management

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

Providing special design accommodation and forever homes for participants who require specialist housing solutions.
